CLIO Kill Cover Primer, Foundation & Liquid Concealer - PREVIEW REVIEW

Guess what I got in the mail just now?!
It's the...

CLIO Kill Cover Realest Wear Moist Primer,

CLIO
Kill Cover Highest Wear Foundation SPF 35 PA+++

(There is a CLIO Kill Cover Realest Wear Moist Foundation SPF PA+++ but I''m not reviewing that)

CLIO
Kill Cover Pro Artist Liquid Concealer!

claims on the concealer packaging
I'm so excited!!!!
Okay so I bought the foundation in #4-Ginger which is said to be suited for skin color 21-23 color range (and I'm talking about the Korean bb creamIMG_1393.JPG (2448×2448) color range). If you normally wear #21 in the bb/cc creams then #3-Linen is your best option according to Clio. I also got the concealer in #3-Linen.

COLORS:
There are 6 total shades.
#1-BP Fatal             for those who wear shades No.11
#2-BP Lingerie       for those who wear shades No.13
#3-BY Linen           for those who wear shades No.21
#4-BO Ginger         for those who wear shades No.21-23
#5-BY Sand            for those who wear shades No.23-25
#6-BO Tan              for those who wear shades No.33

#3-BY Linen:
According to Clio it is a yellow tone w/ a beige color to brighten up reddish, dark skin to even skin tone.
#4-BO Ginger:
Says the color is suited for yellowish/reddish skin tones which neutralize skin tones to natural and bright skin tones.
I bought #4-BO Ginger for my foundation shade since I sometimes am between shade 21-23 depending on the season and I prefer my concealer to be a little lighter to highlight as well so that is why I bought #3-BY Linen.

Product info:
Clio claims that coverage wise it will smooth out uneven surfaces and have a long lasting effect and gives all-day coverage. You can also use a brush or your hands to create the perfect coverage.

Where to buy?
Now I bought all these products during the Black Friday sale on TesterKorea, but you can also buy these off ebay or on ibuybeauti as well as on the Clio website.

Review, picture, and swatches coming soon after I test these babies out!
Again please note that there is a CLIO Kill Cover Realest Wear Moist Foundation SPF PA+++ but I''m not reviewing that.
The Realist Moist Foundation is for dry/normal skin & the Highest Wear Foundation is for oily/combo skin. =)

Korean skincare and makeup samples

As you can see...I have a lot of makeup and skincare samples to go through so I'll leave individual short and I mean SHORT reviews for these babies pretty soon I hope. :)

Skinfood Platinum Grape Cell Essential BB Cream - REVIEW!

I believe this comes in two shades but I received the sample in shade 1.
This is a fair shade with a hint pink undertones (looks yellow when swatched).

Now I know this does not match my skin tone. (Obviously.) But I hated the consistency once I had it on my hand. It has great coverage but it is VERY thick! It does have
w/ flash

no flash

Etude House Play 101 - REVIEW!

Available in a 50 shades!
I have colors 15 colors in:
1, 6, 8, 11, 18, 41-50

Sharpener at the end
Left to Right: 1, 6, 8, 11, 18, 41-50

The pencils are convenient and easy to carry around.
They come with their own inbuilt sharpeners and are also retractable; I wished they had a smudge brush built in too but they don't. :(
The textures are creamy and glide on easily without tugging on the skin.
True to the chart:

  • 1 is a creamy matte black. Perfect for eyeliner
  • 6 does have glitter. Perfect for the inner corners of the eyes.
  • 8 is a matte nude. I like to use this for brightening my eyes by lining my waterline. Can be used as concealer too.
  • 11 is matte. Great lipcolor. You can multi use this as a blush too. It's coral in color.
  • 18 is matte lavender. Good for blush.

    41-50 are great for eyeliner/shadow
  • 41 has a hint of glitter.
  • 42 is matte. I like to use this as a base shadow if i'm doing a neutral smoky look.
  • 43 has glitter
  • 44 has glitter
  • 45 has shimmer copper color.
  • 46 is a glittery copper coral color.
  • 47 is shimmery copper color. Great for eyeshadow/eyeliner.I want to say that 45 and 47 is the same color with only a slight color difference when the light hits it a certain way.
  • 48 has a hint of glitter.
  • 49 is a creamy brown
  • 50 is a creamy dark brown. Same as 49 but a shade darker. Great for eyeshadow/eyeliner. Does smudge after a few hours (without primer underneath, but I have oily lids anyway).
You can find this anywhere on ebay or testerkorea (which is where I bought them).

Peripera Lip Water Tint in No.2 Pink Juice & No.5 Candy Juice - REVIEW

No.2 Pink Juice
No. 2 Pink Juice

No. 5 Candy Juice

It didn't dry out my lips but if you have dry lips or any cracks do not use No.2! It will accentuate it. No.5 won't.
I absolutely love berry lip colors, and so this purple shade is really pretty! Because of the water like consistency of the lip tint, the applicator is a doe foot applicator and not like a nail polish brush (like the lioele lip tint).
one layer above (in No.2) ...it can be buildable though :)
I didn't swatch no. 5 because it barely showed on my lips but it comes off pinky

Pros:
- Good color pay off
- can build a gradient effect (if you want that look)
- not drying
- LONG staying power
-smells great

Cons
-No.2
can accentuate dry cracked lips because of the dark color
-No.2 can get on the teeth!! Beware of how much you use
-its pretty heavy so i don't like putting this in my purse or anything cause its made of glass and don't want to accidentally break it in my purse but it is sturdy
-the water like consistency, be careful not to spill it :)

Missha M Perfect Cover BB Cream - SWATCHES!

Missha M Perfect Cover BB Cream No. 13,21,23,27 and 31

Displaying IMG_4537.JPG
From Left to Right: 13, 21, 23, 27 & 31

Consistency: light to medium
Coverage: I don't think this does anything for pore coverage/control, but the color is nice after oxidizes and blends into the skin.
Shade: 13 is very pale, 21 ran a little grey and 23 was grey (I have made a post on no.23 before), 27 leaned yellow (good for nc20-25) 31 being the darkest shade also has a yellow tone in it but for anyone nc30-35 and up can probably wear this
Benefits: SPF 42 pa+++, moisturizing, softens skin texture
Oil-control: Low. Fine for dry skin, oily girls will need to blot and I mean BLOT!! combination skin may not need to blot as often
Bottom line: Nice overall skin texture and moisture improvement

Banila Co. Eye Love Brow Kit

Okay so first off, I haven't been updating due to school and vacation. But I'm back!!

With the banila co eye love brow kit, the idea is somewhat similar to the sigma eyebrow palette kit (which is sold out :( unfortunately).

The 4 colors from left to right (according to the box): Pure Sand, Sepia, Sahara, Ebony

Pros:
-It's very lightweight and you can carry this anywhere really. It has a magnetic lid clasp so no problems with it opening.
-the tweezers are quite nice, they are small but it has a slight angle to them for easier maneuvering.
-I never had to use brow scissors before either but i'm sure I will have a great use for them when I need to do my fake eyelashes though. :)

Neutral:
-It's not as pigmented but it is buildable (this might be a con for most people but I like being able to customized my eyebrow color depending on my hair color, etc)
Cons
-Not enough colors. You're given one highlight color, and three actual shades. A light taupe, a medium taupe w/ brown, and a grey/black that isn't so dark. Again this is buildable but I did have to swipe it 2-3x when I did the swatches.
-The clear eyebrow gel smells weird. It has this chemical smell that's kinda hard to describe. I actually do not use this clear gel. I would rather use a colored eyebrow gel/mascara.
